Megan likes her neighbors...she really does. But, they all have a view of her house and backyard. She'd really like to block their view and while she's at it, she might as well add some other landscaping she's been intending to do since she moved back to Texas. So here are some plants that will help.
-Coral Drift Roses- if you have a sunny yard, this roses will bloom most of the growing season.
-Red Drift is my favorite.
-Bridal Wreath really puts on a show in the spring.
-Purple Heart Wandering Jew does good in sun or shade and is very drought resistant
-Bicolor Iris will bloom pretty much non-stop once it starts in early summer.
-Variegated Flax Lily adds a little interest with those long variegated leaves.
Low ground cover type Lantanas include
-Trailing White Lantana
-New Gold Lantana
-Purple Trailing Lantana
-Society Garlic blooms non-stop
-Loquat will get big and will definitely block the view.

-Blue Plumbago starts blooming in spring and doesn't stop until it gets cold outside.
-Wooly Stemodia is a great evergreen ground cover.
-Pink Abelia (aka Edward Goucher) is a great shrub for the heat
-Sparklette Esperanza- there are a lot of new selections of Esperanza out now. This is my favorite.
-And for a little color by the front door, you can't beat Pentas.
-Angelonia are also winner. And there are many different colors to choose from.
-Blackfoot Daisy is a well behaved native.
-Purple Skullcap blooms on and off during the summer. There is also a version that blooms hot pink. This perennial stays low.
