-Landscape Evaluation- You just bought a new place and have no idea what kind of plants you have or how to take care of the landscape? I'll Identify all shrubs, trees, ground covers and give you maintenance advice, including fertilizing, pruning, and irrigation. If there are problems we can discuss those also.

-Landscape renewal consultation- got a new place with an old landscape? What do you want to do? Improve it? Start over? I can help with that.

-Landscape Design consultation- I can help with plant selection for your landscape depending on soil, shade, and the level of maintenance you want. I'm not a landscape architect, but we can discuss what you like, what you want out of a landscape, we can put together a great landscape that meets your needs.

-Want to do it yourself and not sure where to start? Or how? I can provide complete "how to" instructions. I can tell you how to prepare the soil, how far apart to plant, how big the plants will get, how much sun, how much shade the plants need, or can withstand. And if you have critters, such as deer or rabbits, I can advice you with that too.

-Tree appraisal

-Referrals for landscape design and installation, tree maintenance, and irrigation installation and repair. 

-Landscape design review- I'll review a design that was drawn by a landscape architect, a landscape contractor, a neighbor who says he knows everything, or by you. I'll give my opinion based on 40 years in the nursery business, about the plant selections, spacing, hardiness, etc. specific to your landscape.

-Plant sourcing- finding those hard to find plants.

-Assistance in plant purchasing

Here are some of the services we offer to help: 

Landscape Design Consulting- you have an idea what you want the landscape to look like, but don't know enough about plant varieties. I'll help you choose the right plant for the right place. We'll consider, sun, soil, how you plan to use your outdoor space, environmental issue, and the level of maintenance you want. I'll draw a sketch of the landscape design and even give you planting instructions if you would like.

Landscape Renovation- Your landscape is old and needs a makeover. Maybe due to maintenance, or the trees have grown too big, or you just want a new look. You aren't sure where to start. Before you do anything, let's talk about it.  

User's Guide for your Landscape- you just bought a new house and have no idea what kind of plants you have or how to take care of  them. I'll identify all shrubs, trees, ground cover and turf and give you a schedule for maintenance, fertilizing, pruning, and watering.

Plant Shopping- I can go shopping with you and help find the plants you need for your landscape. You show me what you like, and don't like. It's important that you have the plants you like in our landscape. We'll pick out the best quality and stay in your budget.

Landscape Design Review- So you had a landscape design drawn by a landscape architect or a designer or a friend who said they know everything. But you don't know the plants, and you aren't sure they will work in your yard, or in your soil. Are there too many in this design? Or not enough? We can review it before you spend a penny, and set your mind at ease.

Tree or Shrub Problems- No matter how good you are, all plants have problems. Maybe it's bugs, disease, or maintenance. Maybe there's nothing that can be done, or needs to be done. Or maybe it's an easy fix. Before you spend a lot of money, let's look at it and see where to start.

Plant Sourcing- Okay, so you read this article and saw there's this plant that's awesome but you can't fine any. I know growers all over the southern United States. I'll help you find it.
